“Love means freedom from all attachments. They are stopping him from his righteous path so they are not showing love, but they are showing “MOH". Love releases us from all attachments and a true lover is that who let his/her lover go to his righteous path and never stop him/her in the path of dharma and give his lover the power of love.”
Then all Gopis realised it and they didn't stop his path anymore. Krishna got selfless love from all the people of Vrindavan.
Radha allowed Krishna to go to his righteous path and didn't stop him from going. she teached us about real love and real sacrifice.
Now coming to your question
What happened to Radha when lord Krishna became King?
Nothing. Nothing happened to Radha. She was never separated from Krishna. Don't forget that they are one soul they are one. And how can one person could be separated from his ownself? It's impossible. The Separation was between their bodies only. In reality, they were never separated and was always together.
But normal human beings from that period saw Radha like she became a dead body and she doesn't live on this earth. She became like a statue because of Separation from Krishna and She fainted many times in the pain of separation. This was God leelas.
But yeah, Physically Radha's condition was very poor and became worst if we look Physically. Because Sridama cursed RadhaKrishna to be separated from each other for 100 years.
It was a divine leela of RadhaKrishn.
To respect their dear devotees, RadhaKrishn accepted the curse from devotee Sridama. She was separated from Krishna for 100 years.
Her pain of separation is beyond from anyone's imagination. Our Mother Radhika really suffered alot which can't be described even Krishna will fail to describe her pain. It was all divine leelas of RadhaKrishn.
Their leela is divine and ofcourse human brains can never understand their leelas.
Later her parents forced her to marry Ayan.
And Ayan was Krishna's shadow. So Radha's shadow married Krishna's shadow whose name was Ayan. So Krishna's shadow was married to Radha's shadow.
And also maybe you don't know that, Real Krishna and real Radha was already married in Bhandir Vann. Lord Bhrama was sage. They married secretly with the presence of all Gopis and lord Bhramma was sage.
They didn't told about their marriage to this world because of Sridama's curse. And according to their leela, people of Earth will see that Radha was not married to Krishna. But in reality they were married secretly in Bhandir Vann. They married because they are LakshmiNarayan.
They showed the world that they didn't marry but they are eternal consorts for eternal time. They are LakshmiNarayan.
They wanted to teach that, “Marriage is not everything, if you love someone so marrying him/her is not necessary”.
Anyway they are eternal consorts and already married in Goloka
