Power in devotion

There was a pandit, he used to go from house to house and read Bhagwat Geeta every day.

One day a thief caught him and told him whatever you have, give me

Then that pandit ji said that son, I have nothing,

You do one thing, I go to the neighboring house here and read the Bhagavad Gita,

Those hosts are very generous people, when I am telling the story

You go to their house and steal it!

the thief agreed.

The next day when Pandit ji was narrating the story, that thief also came there, then Pandit ji said that there is a village miles away from here, Vrindavan, there comes a boy whose name is Kanha, he is laden with diamonds and jewels,

If someone wants to rob, then rob him every night under this peepal tree.

comes down,.

The thief heard this around which there are many bushes and happily left from there!

That thief went to his house and told his wife, today I have a child named Kanha.

going to rob.

Tie me something to eat on the way, the wife gave him some sattu and said that it is just that whatever it is,

The thief left from there with a resolution that now I will come only after robbing that Kanha,

That poor man walked on foot from there in broken slippers.

Just taking Kanha's name on the way, he reached there in the evening of the next day.

Panditji had told

Now after reaching there, he thought that if I stood in front of me, then the child would see me.

If I run away then my coming here will be in vain,

So he thought why not hide in the nearby bushes.

As soon as he entered the bushes, the thorns of the bushes started pricking him.

At that time only one voice came from his mouth.

Kanha, Kanha, his body was filled with blood, but only this came out of his mouth,

Come to Kanha! Come on Kanha!

Seeing such condition of his devotee, Kanha ji left.

Then Rukmani ji said that where the Lord is going, he will rob you!

Lord said that there is no problem for such devotees, then what if I get robbed?

I'd love to disappear too!

And Thakur ji took the form of a child and came there at midnight as soon as he reached near the tree.

The thief came out at once and caught them and said that

Oh Kanha, you have made me very sad, now this knife is looking at me, now silently.

Give me all the jewels…

Kanha ji gave her everything with a laugh!

The thief laughed and happily returned to his village the next day.

And first went to the same place where Panditji was narrating the story,

And half of all the ornaments he had stolen, he had brought it to Panditji.

Put on the feet!

When the pundit asked what is this, then he said that you only gave me the address of that Kanha.

I have come to rob him, and this is your share, the pundit heard and he believed it.

Not done!

He said that I have been doing Panditai for so many years.

I have not found that till today, where can a sinner like you get Kanha!

After repeatedly telling the thief, the pundit said that I will go there with you,

I also showed me what Kanha looked like, and they both left!

The thief told Pandit ji that come and hide here with me,

And both of their bodies bled and only one voice came out of their mouths.

Kanha, Kanha, come!

Right in the middle of the night Kanha ji came there again in the form of a child,

And both came out of the bushes!

Pandit ji had tears in his eyes, he started crying bitterly, and went and fell at the feet of the thief and said that whom we have longed to see till today,

Blessed is the one who has robbed people till today, you have robbed him only.

Today I have seen Kanha because of you.

You are blessed……!!

Such is the love of our Kanha, for his true devotees,

Those who call him with a true heart, then they come running away…..!!

$Jai Shree Krishna$
