Surrender to the Supreme Being is the greatest devotion!

Devotion means ultimate surrender. A destitute devotee who comes into the refuge of the Supreme Being says, 'Oh, Almighty, you are so great! I cannot truly comprehend your greatness because I lack the capacity to measure you. Even the limited power I possess is actually your gift. How can I measure you? If you desire me to measure your power, enhance my ability so that I can do it. You know best what I should and should not do.'

Taking refuge in the Supreme Being

A mother knows better than anyone else what is right and wrong for her child. She knows what the child needs when they are hungry, thirsty, or sleepy. The child has only one task, and that is to cry. Upon hearing the child's cry, the mother runs and accurately assesses whether the child is hungry or thirsty. She then arranges everything accordingly. Your relationship with the Supreme Being is similar to that of a child with its mother. So, whatever thoughts come to your mind, take their name and cry. The Supreme Being understands what you need and will provide accordingly. Surrender is the most ideal way. I have said before that among all living beings, humans are the most intelligent, so the smartest thing for them is to come into the refuge of the Supreme Being.

Self-surrender at the feet

What is the nature of the Supreme Being? Is it black or white? Such thoughts are foolishness because you will never succeed. It is the complete waste of time. You don't have extra time to waste. You have come into this world for a very short time. A human being typically lives for 80-90 or 100 years. Make good use of this short time. Otherwise, when will you accomplish important tasks? So, right from childhood, you should take refuge in the Supreme Power and say, 'Oh Supreme Being, whatever you desire, let it be done because I have surrendered myself at your feet.' A person remains carefree by leaving everything to them.

The feeling of ego

Some people have a sense of ego in their minds. They say, 'I can do this, I can do that.' It is true that they make efforts to do something. But what is the capacity of a human being? In such cases, it is natural that people cannot achieve much. Eventually, they are forced to accept defeat. As their faces reflect the agony of failure, their expressions become gloomy, and in the end, they say, 'God did not want it, so the task could not be completed. If He wanted, it would have happened; if not, then it wouldn't.' It would have been better if they understood this earlier. Since they did not have the habit of taking the name of the Supreme Being earlier, they could not handle it properly. Therefore, it is good to start taking the name of the Supreme Being, remembering His glory, and repeating it from childhood as soon as possible. Delaying is futile. It can even turn the golden opportunity presented as life into a waste."
