Therefore, for the fulfillment of desired tasks and aspirations, and to remove all types of difficulties and troubles, Hanuman worship is an infallible method. Tasks that are beyond our imagination are instantly accomplished by the grace of Hanuman Ji.

Hanuman Ji is a powerful deity, a destroyer of the wicked, and a protector of the virtuous. Despite being extremely powerful, wise, and superior in all respects, Hanuman is extremely humble. By his grace, even the most difficult and impossible tasks of devotees become easily accomplished. Hence, those who wish to achieve great goals in life should seek the shelter of Shri Hanuman Ji. In various episodes of Ram Katha, such as the search for Mother Sita, the Sanjeevani herb for Lakshman, and rescuing from Ahiravan's captivity, Hanuman Ji's remarkable role is well-documented.

There is a general disagreement among scholars regarding the celebration of Hanuman Prakatotsav (the manifestation day of Hanuman Ji). However, among these, the full moon day of Chaitra month is widely accepted as Hanuman Prakatya Diwas. This is supported by the following verse:

“Mahachaitri Purnimaya Samutpannau Anjanisutah,

Vadanti Kalpabhedena Budhah Ityadi Kecana.”

“महचैत्री पूर्णिमाया समुत्पन्नौ अंजनीसुत:।

वदन्ति कल्पभेदेन बुधा इत्यादि केचन।।“

However, some scholars also consider the eleventh day of the bright half of Chaitra month and the fourteenth day of the dark half of Kartik month as Hanuman Ji's manifestation day.

According to astrological calculations, Hanuman Ji's manifestation is said to have occurred 1 crore 85 lakh 58 thousand 115 years ago.

Hanuman Ji is known as the 11th Rudra Avatar of Lord Shiva, proficient in intellect and strength, and is extremely dear to Goddess Janaki (Mother Sita). He is a powerful deity who grants eight siddhis (spiritual powers) and nine nidhis (types of wealth).

In scriptures, Hanuman Ji is also known as Bajrangbali because his body is as strong as a diamond. He is also called Vatatmaja or Vayuputra, meaning the son of the wind. Hanuman Ji is known as Maruti Nandan. According to Anand Ramayan, Hanuman Ji is counted among the eight immortal sages. The other seven are Ashwatthama, Bali, Vyasa, Vibhishana, Narada, Parashurama, and Markandeya.

There are many stories related to the birth of the immensely powerful Hanuman Ji as told by scholars. According to the 'Skanda' and 'Bhavishya Purana,' Kesari's wife Anjana, distressed by the lack of a child, prayed to Matanga Rishi for a remedy to get a child. The sage advised her to perform penance near the Narayana mountain, where she was blessed by the wind deity and promised a virtuous son. This son was named Hanuman by the scholars.

The Brahmanda Purana narrates a different account. According to it, in the Treta Yuga, a demon named Kesari performed severe penance to please Lord Shiva and wished for a powerful, victorious, and wise son. Shiva, pleased with his penance, granted a divine daughter who would bear such a son. This daughter, named Anjana, eventually married the mighty monkey king Kesari.

Despite many years passing, Anjana remained childless. One day, disguised as a sage, a deity named Pulakasi visited and revealed her future, advising her to perform penance at the Venkatachal mountain for seven thousand years. Her penance was successful, and an oracle foretold that when Lord Ram would descend on earth, her son would become his chief servant and would be unmatched in strength and wisdom. Anjana shared this with Kesari, and they awaited the birth of their son. Ten months later, Anjana gave birth to a golden-colored son, who bore the features of a monkey with earrings and a sacred thread, on the eleventh day of the Shravan month during the Shravan Nakshatra.

The varying accounts in different texts and among scholars, but the full moon day of Chaitra month is widely accepted as Hanuman Ji's manifestation day.

On Hanuman Prakatotsav, devotees should worship Hanuman Ji, along with Lord Ram and Mother Janaki, with proper rituals, chanting, meditation, and ceremonies. Those who sincerely worship Hanuman Ji with a pure heart on this day, while fasting, are blessed with everything they desire in the world and are freed from all sins, attaining the path of liberation.

“Buddhir Balam Yasho Dhairyam Nirbhayatvam Arogata,

Ajadyam Vakpatutvam Cha Hanumatsmaranadbhavet.”

“बुद्धिर्बलं यशो धैर्यं निर्भयत्वमरोगता।

अजाड्यं वाक्पटुत्वं च हनुमत्स्मरणाद्भवेत्।।“

This shloka highlights that the remembrance of Hanuman Ji bestows intellect, strength, fame, courage, fearlessness, health, alertness, and eloquence.
