The Fragrance of Life: Embracing Spirituality Beyond Intellectual Discourses!

Spirituality brings fragrance to life, much like flowers. Spiritual growth cannot be achieved through intellectual speeches alone. In an environment filled with hatred, jealousy, violence, and mutual differences, spirituality teaches us the art of living and the essence of humanity. Spirituality guides us towards unity, helping us attain the ultimate truth. If we look closely, this world is akin to a garden.

On a superficial level, its components seem separate. However, this distinction is merely external. On a deeper level, it becomes clear that all these components are interdependent, threaded together like beads in a necklace. Nature and living beings may appear different, but at their core, they share the same essence. Experiencing this essence is the essence of spirituality.

The goal of spirituality is to free the soul from thoughts of sorrow, attachment, desire, and hatred. Through spirituality, the soul finds a way to overcome all worldly sufferings. A practitioner who follows the principles of spirituality remains unaffected by the presence or absence of conscious and unconscious entities. They are free from the stress caused by the fear of outcomes or the ego born from success. Such a person sets an ideal example of a beautiful, simple, and non-violent life for others.

They use their speech to utter kind words. On the path of practice, they progress in a way that even the smallest creatures do not suffer because of them. They embody non-violence, forgiveness, and compassion. Whether faced with happiness or suffering, they remain unaffected. Negative traits like anger, jealousy, hatred, ego, and deceit do not touch them.

Spirituality is unique compared to other worldly arts. Worldly arts nourish the sensory subjects, keeping beings entangled in the world. In contrast, the art of spirituality guides beings away from worldly sufferings towards the path of spiritual bliss. Spirituality not only seeks and establishes the nature of reality but also liberates from contrary beliefs. It paves the way for a blissful spiritual life. The soul is an intangible element, beyond the reach of sensory knowledge. Spirituality studies the inherent nature, characteristics, and behaviors of beings, the beliefs and intentions behind them, and achieves the goal of learning. It is knowledge that guides beings from the gross to the subtle, from darkness to light, from falsehood to truth, and from mortality to immortality.

Just as education provides all knowledge about the world and the body, self-study is a method of studying the relationship between the body and the being. Similarly, spirituality is a practical study related to the being and the soul. In other words, spirituality is a medium that transforms an ordinary human into a superhuman or a divine being. Science views the external surface of the universe and its diversity. Spiritual growth cannot be achieved through intellectual speeches alone.
