Living the Divine: A Litmus Test for True Spirituality!

Practicing non-violence applies not only to humans but to all living beings. Where there is a mind, there are feelings of pain, joy, and happiness. Naturally, no one wants to be unhappy, so why not share happiness and experience divine presence?

Every living being embodies the essence of God. This idea influences every aspect of our lives. It teaches us that we are connected to a single divine source and should treat each other with love, respect, and compassion. When we believe that all beings are connected to God, our attention and devotion are not limited to idols or places of worship but extend to every living creature. Disrespecting anyone is akin to disrespecting the divine.

When we embrace this idea, society improves. People are eager to help each other. Injustice and oppression diminish. This idea also aids in our personal development. Our ego begins to decrease. We become more humble and kind. All avatars and deities of different sects are considered forms of the same God. Thus, speaking ill of anyone feels like a sin. Such thoughts serve as a litmus test to gauge our inner sensitivity. It is also a way to test the truth of our faith and belief.

It is said that God resides in the hearts of the simple, innocent, and needy. Devotion, love, non-violence, affection, and connection with people are easy paths to follow. Even while living a household life, devotion to God is essential for a pure heart and conduct. Daily service to the destitute, helpless, and sick is also necessary. Through service, we experience God. Continuously practicing to see God in every creature brings feelings of happiness and joy. God has many forms, but the essence is one. Meditation is done not for God but to understand His essence. Meditation on form is not done because God's essence is beyond our reach.

No one can see God; He can only be experienced through worship. God is not limited by time or place. He is omnipresent. Brahma is considered the deity who created the universe. The Supreme Soul created this world for the joy and welfare of the soul, so we should always remember Him. He is the judge of all. Thus, selflessly seeking refuge in Him is true worship.

All rituals of worship are routines that bring mental peace. Whatever work brings peace should be considered worship. This frees us from negative thoughts and fills us with positive energy. Everyone needs inspiration to understand the stages of life. Therefore, every moment of life should be lived freely because that moment is now; it may not come tomorrow. Hence, live every moment with complete freedom, and all this is possible by God's grace.
