Janmashtami 2021: Is Krishna's heart still on earth? This thousands of years old mystery will surprise.

The Mahabharata is not only known for the end of the Kauravas, but from here the end of Shri Krishna began. According to Shrimad Bhagavad Gita, Gandhari, who was unhappy with the son of Duryodhana, had cursed Krishna with death. But it is believed that the heart of Krishna, who died thousands of years ago, is still beating on the earth.

36 years after the war of Mahabharata, Shri Krishna was taking yoga samadhi under a tree. Meanwhile, a hunter named Zara reached there chasing a deer. Zara mistook Krishna's moving feet as a deer and shot an arrow. After this the hunter reached Shri Krishna and started apologizing to him for his mistake. Then Shri Krishna consoled him and told how his death was certain.

Then Shri Krishna says, 'In Treta Yuga people knew me by the name of Ram. Rama had secretly killed Sugriva's elder brother Bali. He has got the punishment of his previous birth in this life. In fact, there was only Bali in the last life.' Saying this Shri Krishna left his body. The death of Shri Krishna is considered to be the beginning of KalYug.

When Arjuna reached Dwarka, he saw that both Shri Krishna and Balarama were dead. For the peace of their souls, Arjuna performed their last rites. It is said that the whole body of Shri Krishna and Balarama was burnt to ashes. Krishna's heart did not turn to ashes. It is believed that it is still burning today.

After the departure of the Pandavas, the entire city of Dwarka got absorbed in the sea. Everything including the burning heart of Lord Krishna got washed away in the water. It is said that these remains of Krishna city are still present under water. Krishna's heart has turned into a soft body of iron.

King Indradyumna of Avantikapuri was a great devotee of Lord Vishnu and wanted to have his darshan. One night he saw in a dream that Lord Vishnu would appear to him in the form of Nile Madhav. The next morning the king set out in search of Nile Madhav. When he found Nile Madhav, he brought it with him and established the Lord Jagannath temple.

Once, while bathing in the river, King Indradyumna found a soft iron ingot. The king was surprised to see a soft iron body floating in the water. As soon as he touched this body, he heard the voice of Lord Vishnu in his ears. Lord Vishnu said to King Indradyumna, 'This is my heart, which will always beat on the ground as a soft body of iron.'

The king immediately took that body to the Lord Jagannath temple and carefully placed it near the idol. The king refused everyone to see or touch this body. It is said that till date no one has seen or touched the heart of Krishna present in the form of a body.

According to the beliefs, the heart of Shri Krishna is still established in the temple of Lord Jagannath. No one has seen it till date. On the occasion of Navakalevar, when the idols are changed at an interval of 12 or 19 years, then the eyes of the priest are also blindfolded.

Therefore, like common people, the priests of the temple are neither able to see that body nor feel it by touching it. This temple is located in Puri, Orissa, India.
